Jean Froissart

A French-speaking medieval author and court historian from the Low Countries, who wrote several works, including <i>Chronicles</i> and <i>Meliador</i>, a long Arthurian romance, and a large body of poetry, both short lyrical forms, as well as longer narrative poems (<a href=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Froissart>Wikipedia</a>).
