Peter C. Brown

Peter C Brown was born in Southend-on-Sea, Essex in 1959, and grew up in the area. He had assisted and contributed to the work of other writers and websites over the years on the subject of local history and its various niches, when he was prompted by fellow author Dee Gordon in 2012 to consolidate some of his research work about Southend Airport that he had been compiling for several years into a book. This started him on the road to becoming a writer of aviation, local and military history, all inspired by his personal interest. To date, he has had seventeen books published through Pen & Sword, Fonthill Media, Amberley Publishing, The History Press and Amazon Kindle, and has written magazine articles and internet blogs, and enjoyed many radio guestspots. He now lives in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, having moved from Essex in 2014.-Amazon
