Built to last

Though it will break ties with the only place she has ever been happy, Marilyn Waters, an executive recruiter, decides to sell her great aunt's Victorian home to gain start-up capital for her own agency. Unfortunately, the house requires restoration, which means working with Max, Marilyn's first teenage crush, first grown-up kiss, and first heart-rending rejection. Head of Connors and Son Construction, Max doesn't want to work with Marilyn, either. Sure, she's matured from a gangly teenager into an attractive woman, but she's like his ex-fiancée, too focused on her career. Yet, his company desperately needs the contract. So he agrees to restore the house, vowing to keep his mind on the Victorian--and off Marilyn. Restoring the house throws Max and Marilyn together all day, every day.
