Compute's Nintendo Secrets

This is a reviews, tips, and strategies book for 31 games for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), and 8 games for the Nintendo Game Boy (GB). Each review, except that for the GB version of 'Batman', has a gray-scale screenshot, a 'Review' of the game, its 'Instructions' booklet, a 'Features' section describing the type of game it is, its Difficulty settings, Number of players, whether it has a pause feature, if it has a continue, password or allows the player to 'Restart at Last Level', and the name of the game 'Manufacturer'. There is also ratings on the games 'Graphics and Sounds', 'Challenge', and 'Play Value'. Besides the reviews the the largest section for nearly each game is its 'Tips, Tricks, and Strategies'. After each section is a 'Super Secrets section, with additional tips, written in mirror face type, and a composite 'Play Value' chart comparing the games in that section. A third section has Violence rating information for the NES games and a game index, which covers this book and the previous book, "Compute's Guide to Nintendo Games", ISBN: 0874552214. The last 8 pages of the book have color screenshots and tips for 16 games.
