Based on declassified documents and extensive historical research, Estimate of the Situation is an exploration into the beginning of the UFO phenomenon and the US military’s response in the wake of WWII and the growing threat of Russian aggression. In 1947, The United States Air Force launches a top-secret military investigation known as Project SIGN in response to the explosion of reports across the country of mysterious unidentified flying objects.
