Venus Perez is an Author, HIV/AIDS Advocate, Green Movement & Songwriter. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and of Hispanic heritage she relocated to Florida in 2003. She attended FDR High School and Kingsborough Community College. In expanding her education she attended Willsey Institute in 2001 for Nursing, Phlebotomy, EKG certification and has completed HIV/AIDS 500/501 certification training. She is a HIV/AIDS Advocate and Author, member of Hispanic Achievers, the CAAID-Corporate Achiever Awards for Individuals with Disabilities, a board member of James House and has involved herself in environmental issues. She is also a representative to the Seminole County community, a sponsor to the Children's Miracle Network, International Fellowship of Christian and Jews, volunteer for the Coalition for the Homeless on Central Florida.
