Murder of a movie star

As London bakes during a heatwave, Posie Parker is all alone, feeling as thundery as the storm clouds above. But when she's summoned to Worton Hall, the fashionable film studios, Posie finds her hands are suddenly very full. And there's trouble brewing. Silvia Hanro, the famous movie star, has received death threats, not to mention grisly souvenirs, alongside her morning coffee. Tasked with protecting the movie star, and aided by her friends Lady Dolly Cardigion and Chief Inspector Lovelace, Posie sets out to uncover the truth behind the threats, with a list of suspects which includes a famous film director, a heart-throb male movie star, a known stalker and a criminally-convicted suffragette. But nothing is quite as it seems . . .
