About this book
Officially the Cold War may have ended, but instead of disarming, the Russian Republic is covertly selling its nuclear weapons to Third World nations for grain and manufactured goods. And in the process, it is contaminating the Arctic Ocean with nuclear pollutants. The United States has no way of proving any of this unless it can locate a key U.S. mole who is working on the Kola Peninsula at the site of the nuclear transactions. But when the mole falls out of contact, it becomes a job for the U.S. Navy SEALs - America's most elite fighting force. Five men, handpicked members of SEAL Team Two, must penetrate the brutal frozen peninsula in northern Russia to bring the contact out, even as political and military odds are stacking up against them. And even if they locate the mole and obtain the proof they need, they must still make their rendezvous with the American A-2l2 submarine that is playing daily cat-and-mouse games with Russian nuclear subs in Russian waters.
