The manuscript was one of two selected by Cormorant Books editor Robyn Sarah from seventy-two submissions. One of the poems in the book, Biarritz, made the longlist in the first Montreal International Poetry Competition, i.e was one of 150 poems selected from among 3000 submitted by writers around the world.
