John Burke is a pseudonym of actor/author Richard O'Connor. Richard O'Connor was an American actor, newspaper reporter, and author of biographies, popular histories, Western sagas, and murder mysteries. For his mysteries he used the pseudonyms Frank Archer, John Burke, and Patrick Wayland.
