Semiconductors

The large handbooks in physics, chemistry and other disciplines contain data needed every day, and additional data, as important as the others, but needed only at longer time intervals. Thus a new series Data in Science and Technology has been founded which besides the basic data contains a full list of contents of the respective volumes the data were drawn from. Hence the user is informed what additional information is held at his disposal in the more complete handbooks, i.e. the Data in Science and Technology provide a bridge from the laboratory to the library. The third volume contains information about semiconductors: others than group IV elements and III-V compounds. It is an extension of the first volume on group IV elements and III-V compounds and contains data and further information about some hundred other semiconducting substances.
