The scent of heather

Maggie and her sister Rebecca come to Heather House to recover from the drowning deaths of their two husbands. But their retreat seems to be haunted by the ghost of its one-time owner, Heather Lambert, the scent of the eponymous herb occasionally drifting through the air. As Maggie falls under the spell of the house, events take a more sinister turn when she narrowly survives an attempt on her life, and then the housekeeper is found murdered ...
