Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Booklogr is a reader-supported reading platform. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission when you click a link and make a purchase. This comes at no extra cost to you — affiliate commissions are paid by the retailer, not the reader.

Which retailers we link to

Booklogr links to Amazon (paperbacks, hardcovers, Kindle editions, and Audible memberships) and Bookshop.org (which financially supports independent bookstores). We're working toward enrolment in the Amazon Associates Program and the Bookshop.org affiliate program; once we're approved, a small commission from qualifying purchases will help support the site at no extra cost to you.

When you click a buy link you'll be redirected through a short on-domain step (booklogr.com/go) so we can route to the right regional storefront and log anonymous click analytics.

How we use affiliate links

  • We never show live prices next to affiliate buttons — always click through to the retailer for the current price.
  • Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored"per Google's guidelines, and open in a new tab.
  • You will never see affiliate links inside transactional emails (receipts, password resets, etc.).
  • We don't send popups, interstitials, or emails promoting affiliate products. Buy options only appear on book detail pages where they're a useful feature.

Data we collect on clicks

When you click an affiliate link, we log the retailer, destination URL, the book you clicked from, your user ID (if logged in), coarse country (from Cloudflare's geo header), IP address, and user agent. This is used to measure which recommendations are useful and to report earnings, and is covered by our privacy policy.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence which books are recommended, how reviews are ranked, or what content appears on Booklogr. Retailers do not pay for placement, and commission rates are not considered when choosing which books to feature.
