His poems feature his quirky observations of life from the humorous to the serious and feature a range of larger than life characters such as Merkyl Crud, Thommo, Mick, Candy Divine and Jimbo. A favourite is "The Premiership" which tells the tale of a country footy match between the Muckendilla Maulers and the Coolybung Crabs using the overblown and hysterical hype of a sports broadcaster. So funny.
